The Rino is a top end GPS with renowned Garmin features like Area Calculation, Trip Computer, Map Page, Track Log, Trackback® and turn-by-turn Autorouting and is now combined with a 40 Channel, 5 Watt UHF CB radio. The Rino 520 is packed not only with GPS features, but with UHF features as well. It has repeater access (duplex), is 0.5/2/5 Watt switchable power and has user adjustable squelch, channel scan and vibration alert mode. With a high resolution colour TFT display, the Rino 520’s positioning-reporting function enables users to ‘beam’ their location to other Rino users. These users can then see the location of the sender on their map display, showing the distance and direction between the sender and receiver. With Garmin’s optional Mapsource® City Navigator Maps, the rino will give you automatic route generation with turn-by-turn directions (screen prompts) and alert tones. The user can look up street addresses, points of interest and waypoints by simply using the ‘find’ function. Up to 500 waypoints can be stored, along with 10,000 tracklog points and 50 reversible routes.
