Goldfields of South Australia
This report provides a general account of the location and early history of gold occurrences in South Australia, prior to the opening of Olympic Dam. This information has been compiled from published and unpublished departmental reports, mine summary cards and early newspaper clippings. There is no reference to new prospects of the Central Gawler Gold Province of the Gawler Craton and Curnamona Province.
Produced by the South Australian Department of Mines and Energy includes descriptions of all known goldfields in South Australia with detailed maps of each (excluding those previously mentioned).
